team Mission
ERDT’s mission is to grow skilled, confident dancers who embrace teamwork, school spirit, leadership, and responsibility—while forming lasting friendships, unforgettable memories, and having a lot of fun along the way! Our dancers leave stronger performers and well‑rounded individuals.
The Elk River Fall Dance Team (ERDT) performs at all home regular‑season varsity Elks football games and participates in local dance showcases hosted by area high schools. The highlight of every season is Homecoming, when the team unveils its featured routine at the school pep fest and performs in the Homecoming parade and football game. Throughout the season, the team also represents Elk River through community appearances and volunteer events.
The season begins in early August with practices held four days per week during the daytime, transitioning to four days per week after school once the school year begins. The fall season ends at the last regular season Elks Varsity football game (10/21 this year). Consistent attendance and commitment are essential to delivering strong performances. We recognize that many dancers also participate in studio dance, and open communication is key. Dancers are expected to note any studio commitments on their tryout form and communicate proactively with coaches about schedule conflicts.
ERDT is booster‑led and open to any dancer living in District 728—you do not need to attend Elk River High School to audition. Our team proudly includes dancers from Spectrum, local private schools, and homeschool programs. Our fall schedule is currently being finalized—stay tuned for updates!
