Macayla braun - Head coach

Macayla started her dance career at an early age at the Elk River Just For Kix, where she danced competitively in both jazz and kick styles through her senior year of high school. In 8th grade, she joined the Rogers High School fall performance and winter competitive teams, dancing with those teams for five years. During her time on RDT, the team earned four conference championships and made a state appearance in both kick and jazz. Macayla was also involved in choreography teams and attended four JFK summer dance camps.
Macayla took a break from dance in college to pursue her teaching career. After graduating, she began coaching for the Princeton Just For Kix program, where she served as a head coach and choreographer for the last six years. For the past two years, Macayla has proudly served as an assistant coach for the Elk River Dance Team and is now super excited to step into her new role as Head Coach. In addition to coaching, Macayla teaches at a local elementary school, owns her own permanent jewelry business, and loves to travel. Macayla is so excited to be back with the Elk River Dance Team for another season!

baylee riddle - Assistant coach

Baylee grew up in Elk River and trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and kick at Dancin’ on Broadway and Showcase Dance Studio. In ninth grade, she joined the Elk River High School fall performance team and winter competitive team. During her time on ERDT, Baylee attended the JFK camp, served as a junior varsity captain, and was a member of the choreography team. Following a season-ending injury her sophomore year, she made the difficult decision to part with winter and focus on the fall season. She finished out her high school career as a member of the fall team, which remains some of her most meaningful and cherished dance experiences.

Baylee took a break from dance in college to pursue a career in education and currently teaches at one of our local middle schools. She is proud to now coach and support athletes she has taught in the classroom. Baylee is excited to return to ERDT and contribute to the program with passion, care, and a strong commitment to restoring ERDT’s legacy.
